Vincent Boschma (1976, NL) received his education at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he studied Fine Arts, and graduated with honours in 2006. Since then, his work has been exhibited both in Amsterdam and in New York. He dedicates his time to media work, short films and painting.
Sonostruct~ is a collective of three music 'technologists', founded after graduating from the Utrecht School of the Arts (MFA), faculty Art Media & Technology. Their activities include the development of interactive audio-video installations, sound design, software, live electronics, live video and performance.
Boschma and Sonostruct~ will present CCTV. CCTV is an acronym for 'Closed Circuit Television'. We live with CCTV and surrender our privacy, either aware of it or not. Through CCTV cameras you become both visitor and creator in a new world. Boschma and Sonostruct~ utilize this security system to create an interactive installation, where movement is translated into a musical composition. The concept of the installation is conceived by Boschma, the software
and sound design is developed by Sonostruct~.
